Brooke + CJW

I never thought I would love a Halloween themed wedding so much but it was… well, totally bad ass. This gorgeous bride met the love of her life when she was just 14 years old. Having always loved Halloween, Brooke broke away from tradition in all the right ways to infuse her wedding day with spooky details that made it hauntingly beautiful. Being the most haunted city in the United States, Savannah was the obvious choice for this destination wedding. The guests and the wedding party, dressed in all black, gathered in Chatham Square just before sunset for the ceremony which was performed by a real life witch. When Brooke and CJW were pronounced husband and wife they exited the ceremony to “This is Halloween” by Marilyn Manson.
The reception took place at The Pirate’s House, the oldest standing building in Georgia. It was built as an inn for seafarers and quickly became a favorite of blood-thirsty pirates and sailors. Captain Flint allegedly died in the upstairs bedroom and legend has it, he still haunts the building to this day. Guests were treated to “witchy” favors that included tarot cards, sage and amethyst crystals.
